The South Australian SES is Adopting the Australian Storm Warning System

The South Australian SES is adopting the Australian Warning System to display storm warnings.

All SASES storm warnings will incorporate the nationally consistent storm icon consisting of an illustration of a storm cloud and thunderbolt/s.

The background colour of each storm warning will be different depending on the warning level.

Advice storm warnings will have a yellow background.

Watch and Act storm warnings will have an orange one.

and Emergency Warning storm warnings will have a red one.
