Whyalla City Council is holding a $15 Microchip Day for dogs and cats tomorrow.
From 10am-2pm at the Searle St Dog Park, no appointment necessary discounted microchipping is being offered to encourage more pet owners to protect their pets with a microchip.
Microchipping pets is the best defence against ensuring they’re found if lost and also relieves stress on rescue centres as microchipped pets can easily be identified and returned to their owner.
