Final preparations are underway for Vietnam Veterans’ Day which will this year mark 50 years since Australia ended its involvement in the long-running conflict.
Ahead of commemorations on August 18, Local Veterans & families are being encouraged to apply for a special medallion and certificate to recognise their service.
There are estimated to be more than 35,000 Australian veterans of the conflict still living, many of those regional locations.
