A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening service station staff with a butane torch in Peterborough yesterday morning.
Around 10.30am, officers responded to reports of a man with a weapon.
It’s alleged he attempted to steal items and when confronted, produced the burning torch, threatening the attendant and then burning items on the shelves.

The 29-year-old man from Salisbury North was arrested and searched – police finding meth, a drug pipe and other prescription medication.
He’s been charged with assault, threatening to damage property, disorderly behaviour and possessing a prescription drug.
