The 2024 Malka Aboriginal Art Prize has been won…
The awards night was held last Thursday at Port Augusta’s Yarta Purtli Art Gallery in line with NAIDOC week celebrations.
Some 55 entrants displayed their work in the gallery including many from the Eyre Peninsula, Far North and Mid-North.

There was a new category this year called the Flinders Ranges & Outback 2024 Regions of SA Award.
Two local artists taking it home – Margaretta Alington from Port Augusta and Maisie Winton from the Davenport Community.
Josephine Lennon from Ceduna Arts took out the top gong with her painting titled “Fire (Waru).”
