Celebrations were in full swing last Friday, as the long-awaited Minlaton Family Centre officially opened its doors.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Member for Grey, Rowan Ramsey, along with the three women who made the vision a reality: Katie Hughes, Anna Phasey, and Amy Honner.
Yorke Peninsula Council Mayor, Darren Braund, described the event as one of his proudest moments in his six years in office.

After nearly seven months of delays, the centre began operations on July 22 and has now created an extra 120 childcare places – jumping up from just 14 a few years ago.
