Beginning tomorrow (Friday, October 18) the initiative will run for six months.
The designated area is defined by several key boundaries, including the Augusta Highway and the low tide shoreline of Spencer Gulf.

Within this precinct, police will have enhanced powers to conduct metal detector searches, perform drug detection, and ensure public order.
The declaration will be in effect daily from 10am to 10pm, concluding Sunday, April 27.
