We’ve got a verdict in the case of Independent Member for Narungga, Fraser Ellis, who was charged with deception.
The former Liberal was accused of rorting the Country Members Travel Allowance after allegedly making more than $18,000 in fraudulent expense claims back in February 2021, following an ICAC probe.
He’s been found Guilty on four counts but cleared of the remaining 19.
