It’s back to regularly scheduled programming at Whyalla Steelworks!
Workers are returning to their normal rosters, with repairs to the blast furnace nearing completion.
Hundreds of staff were back on deck as of yesterday, after temporarily having their pay cut and hours reduced when the furnace was damaged back in mid-March.

A Liberty Primary Steel spokesperson saying they look forward to welcoming them back and starting to make steel once again.
Rolling Mill workers are also expected to return to their regular shifts shortly.
