A total fire ban was issued for the Flinders, Mid-North and YP on Saturday, with the hottest day in seven months.
It comes after BOM’s most recent long-range outlook indicated forecasts are mixed, with SA heading for “unusually tropical” weather over the next two months.

Temperatures in Port Augusta are relatively mild today with a top of 29 forecast, while tomorrow the mercury is set to spike at 40 degrees.
