Travellers are being reminded that the perfect Instagram photo isn’t worth the risk for a canola selfie.
Reports have been made to Grain Producers SA about people jumping fences and driving onto farms to take photos amongst the yellow crop.
GPSA CEO Brad Perry says pests, weeds and diseases can spread by someone simply entering a crop to take a photo.

He says the last thing they want to see is a grain producer’s livelihood ruined or someone injure themselves while climbing a fence.
