A Mid North man has a date with the courts after a number of firearms were seized from a property on the weekend.
Around 6pm on Sunday, 14 January, police conducted a firearms enquiry in Murray Town, where they found 23 firearms.
They also located ammunition, body armour, combat knives, a crossbow and arrows.

The 66-year-old was reported for three counts of possessing a prohibited weapon and multiple counts of contravening the code of practice of the Firearms Act.
A 58-year-old woman was also reported for hindering police and received a caution.
