Coca-Cola are coming under heavy fire since their announcement surrounding the popular Aussie drink ‘Lift’.
The rumours circling the future of ‘Lift’ began way back in July which then angered fans calling the drink “irreplaceable”.

A Coca-Cola Australia spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au that Lift cans and bottles would be phased out of all Australian stores by the end of 2022 as the company shifts their focus.
“Sprite Lemon+ with added caffeine and zesty lemon flavour is our new addition to the Sprite brand,” they said.
“We’re always evolving our product portfolio to provide more of what people want and we only introduce recipes we feel will bring more followers to our brands.
“We believe our new Sprite Lemon+ range, including a Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar product, will be popular with existing Lift drinkers.”

Fans of Lift took to social media to voice their displeasure, “Coca Cola removing Lift from sale in Australia is a sad day,” one user wrote and another said that “Sprite does not … hold up to Lift and they need to bring back Lift.”
